Learning of Al Gore's heckling made me giggle. Put him in the audience more often. We need more heckling.

I dont think we will ever recover from being such a global embarassment.

The first thing I heard when I stepped out of my car after work was one of our roosters crowing his little heart out...

Followed by the neighbor's rooster trying to out do him.

It made me smile. I love to hear it.

2026 is the year I unapologetically stand up for myself.

I've been a people pleaser for almost 37yrs. I refuse to enter my 40s being a door mat. ✌️

I am out of eggs. I want to have eggs for dinner.

Imagine the look on my face as I stare out the window at my freeloading hens who are still not laying regularly yet.

Come on ladies...I cant afford eggs in this economy. 🙃

Stepping back this statement because it has turned into some creepy as hell behavior at not only NHL games but JUNIOR games as well...most of those players are 15-18yrs old.

Creepy and gross.
I love that this hockey show everyone is thirsty over is making hockey so popular.

Speaking from experience...hockey players pretty amazing.

I love them so much I married one. 😆

It's senior assassin night in the town I teach in. My dad saw a post about it and asked me what it was, so I explained that it's essentially a giant city wide nerf battle the high school seniors partake in. That they form teams and alliances and there's all sorts of drama and betrayal.

If psychological torture is your thing, might I suggest: reasoning with a 3yr old.

Wesley went from barely being able to finish his work in class due to focus issues to receiving an academic award within 1 month of starting his ADHD medication. 🥹

We are so happy we found a med/dosage that works for him and also for an amazing teacher. She's one of the best!

Home from our first 4-H show of the 2026 show season. I'm so tired.

I can't express how much I love both our groups and the program. Watching Wesley learn and grow has been such an amazing journey. The kids are all the best and support each other, our leaders are some of the hardest working people

Wesley has a dream team of showmanship animals. Paprika (chicken) and Clover (rabbit) both did so well today.

The turkey who forgot his nightly routine.

Before this he tried going on a little adventure in the backyard. 😆

Me giving Wesley's show animals a pep talk tonight because tomorrow is their first showmanship show since the fair in August:

Wesley has decided to try raising a market turkey for the junior livestock auction and I cant help but giggle a little bit because he will go from showing a tiny silkie chicken to a turkey that will be almost as big as him.

My heart is very burdened today. I feel so guilty for bringing my babies into this world only to have to raise them in such cruel, hateful times.

I'm sad for a widow and her young child tonight.

I'm sad schools have to he canceled to protect students from our own government.

When is it enough?

Jeremy started cleaning out my FIL's room today. I came home from work and he fell apart and cried in my arms.

This is really tough stuff. 😔

I got my Ghost ritual outfit today (most of it) and can't wait to live up to the sacreligious outcast label I got from my church friends growing up. ✌️🦇

Healing myself from religious trauma has been a hell of a ride.

Almost 2:30am the night before school starts again and I'm struggling to sleep due to sadness and anxiety.

The ultimate Sunday scaries.

Accidentally scared Daisy's groomer. I totally forgot she had an appointment today and went about my day until her groomer called me very worried something had happened to Daisy because we missed her appointment. 🙃

She's been rescheduled and I feel like I owe her poor groomer double her usual tip.

The level of audacity my 7yr old just had saying he would allow me to play on *MY* PS5...

I used to love winter and get excited about snow. Now that I have farm animals and mud and frozen water bowls and cold nights going out to lock coops and feed...I hate it. I want Spring.
