It once again comes down to choice and power and the desire of a patriarchal society to remove both choice and power from women (the overwhelming majority of pregnant people). So I will continue to breastfeed in public wearing my crop tops and lacy bras and I will continue to express at work.

Like yeah, obviously it's so tough being a queer kid in a small town. But the little moments of joy... I remember them so well. It still warms my heart to think of first dances and stolen kisses
