Indeed, mink are found throughout Idaho. Boise River, MK Nature Center, Snake, etc. My best luck has been early AM & towards evening. I always find along river banks, right at river edge & alternating between running & swimming. Usually focused & deliberate in their movements.

Yes: mink, river otter, beaver, long-tailed weasel, raccoon...all are fairly common along the Snake River of E ID. Mink are esp fun to watch: excellent swimmers & will eat small fish & crayfish. Will run right at land/water edge, frequently swimming, diving & then back to the land edge.

Lol! Don't blame you. Personally like dark roast whole bean coffee that I grind myself. On the order of "Death Wish Coffee Dark Roast". Last Christmas staff gave me a ground Hershey's M&M flavored coffee. Later, it secretly & quietly went to staff lounge at hospital, where it was apparently enjoyed!

Thank you! Yes, beautiful blue sky day. Feels great in the sunshine. And, various waterfowl flocks have started their southward migration. Happened to catch these Trumpeters with my phone cam, as came overhead.
