Don't worry, they also clearly state that romances are about centering women's pleasure on the page. Pretty sure they don't know that gay romances are even a thing.

I think it was her choice? It's self-pubbed and she's coming from primarily a non-fiction space, where it seems like print is somewhat more viable

An acquaintance has just pubbed her first romance book and there is no ebook option and I'm trying to get a sense if I'm right in thinking this is a bad business decision…and whether I should say something.

I am very impressed with your level of plugged-in!

I've heard great things about the Abby Jimenez, but it also sounds suuuuuper heavy and that's just not where I'm at right now. Maybe someday.

Nothing Good by RJ Piper had hilarious chapter titles all in "Florida Man" style that really highlighted how bonkers everything was and elevated the Catch-22 vibes (in a romance novel about dueling assassins)

I edit self-help books for my day job, and the number of authors I have worked with who are shocked that I haven't read every single self-help book that inspired them is very high. Can't even fathom that I would want to read anything else.
