I have come to the conclusion that The Elder Scrolls games are not “true” fantasy RPGs. They’re more like western wuxia games. Cultivation simulators. You’re some dude focused on gathering your inner strength, becoming absurdly OP, and generally become an unhinged maniac as you go from town to town.
