Brodido’s made me actually think about the “two singles guys as a tag team” thing. American wrestling ruined that by making it “can they coexist?” and they win anyway. Funnily enough, when you do it well it’s actually good.

Again, I like all the pieces, but hate how we get there, and I think I can articulate why.
It was VERY WWE. Interference in a cage, the match serving secondary to the Moment™, and frankly, a match not being as good as we know the wrestlers can do.
The Moment™ was prioritized. THAT's disappointing.
