when I changed my name, my wife also changed hers because she'd never liked it - and people are so confused when they find this out - but man, in the UK at least you can just. do that. it's your name, you should like it 🤷
normalize name changes for anyone tbh. even if you're not trans, you should be able to just choose a name you feel good about and not have it be a big deal

No, using AI generated stuff as a "placeholder" on your crowdfunding campaign is not OK either.
If the visuals are THAT important to getting your project funded, then you need to pay a person up front for those key visuals and deliver a consistent end product to your backers.
