Another alarming statistic from that segment. In the 2024 election, 88 counties flipped from blue to red and 0 flipped red to blue. In 1984, when Reagan won 49/50 states with 58.8% of the popular vote, ~ 30 counties still flipped red to blue.

In 2024, 1 candidate won all 7 swing states—by enough votes to avoid automatic recounts.

With less than 50% of national popular vote.

In every. single. swing state.
