Blue laws are outdated relics of religious rule.

There’s no reason government should force businesses to close on Sunday — or any day — because of someone else’s holy book.
Imagine running one of the biggest malls in America and being told selling socks on Sunday is a crime.

One New Jersey town is serious about it, and officials there have sued the owners of the American Dream mall for not obeying their "Blue Laws."
