We’ve a part of the Gorges d’Aveyron cycle route about 5km away from us that’s fallen into the Aveyron, leaving an exposed 20m drop. Sadly I don’t suppose there will ever be the money to fix it, and I fear the same for this bridge…

Very reminiscent of Le Pen senior’s view that you could only be French if the bones of your ancestors had assimilated into French soil. It amused me at the time, as he and his supporters of course thought Algeria was France, and so would legitimise all the Arabs and Berbers as French.

Thank you, yes have come to terms with it. Rural Scotland is a great choice, and we love it, but, we chose rural France as my wife has a French degree and always wanted to live here.

So ours is a retro fit with the blowers being able to do hot and cold. Don’t know how they would cope with -25! Worked well cooling at +40, not sure if that helps with your use case. Coupled with solar panels at least we don’t feel guilty using air conditioning…
