I saw this beautiful Phallus indusiatus during fieldwork in #Panama. It has a "skirt" for flies to walk on as they are attracted by the smelly (read: extremely stinky) gleba on top, which contains the spore mass. The flies will eat the spores and disperse them. #mycology #fungalmonday 🍄🪰🇵🇦

The audiobook debate is remarkably narrow. Reading aloud was a group activity for centuries and I actually argue that people who struggle with classic lit should try an audiobook as it was likely that the original audience enjoyed it aloud.
