Profile of Sliced Bread Inc™ (The inventors of Sliced Bread).
Tomorrow we will announce The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread™.
We promise there won't be any delays.
In other news, Meg is recovering and wants me to state on here that, "The infirmary's food sucks ass."
Meanwhile, efforts in finding a doorway to the Egg Leaf have still been unsuccessful.
Also, The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread™ is still delayed.
Thanks,
The Boss's secretary, Betty.

That last fact shocked me. To think a skilled assassin like him was only a teenager at the time, and that there was more to him besides that grim job.
"The reason he could easily travel between Leafs, was because of a deal he made with ROF. One day, the boy will hang himself with a smile."

"He helped me with my research. Telling me about the Void and the other Leafs. That boy constantly visited me until my death, and I haven't seen him since becoming the caretaker of the Tree.
He was a helpful boy to me. I think he was 11 when I first met him. Now he must be around 24."

"First time I saw the lad, I was surprised by his fleshly exterior. As you can imagine, no one from my Leaf looked that way. Knew he had to be from another one, but how?"
Turn out, the Chain Hanger could come and go between Leafs. And while the Fae Leaf was his home, he travelled around a lot.

For example, Bartender mostly study his world's history before his death, Detective on crime scene analysis, and Captain on calligraphy.
While Sock focused on his theory of multiple Leafs. Spending years researching the Void before even being able to get to it. But, he wasn't alone with this.

"I should've realised your counterpart was the Chain Hanger. Considering how much he helped with my research."
Bear in mind, the Chain Hanger is from Bartender's and Daisy's Leaf not Sock's.
After all that, I collapse from all the revelations thrown about and tune out for the rest of the day.

Next, Captain dropped his drink.
"Now that I think about it. If I imagine what you'd be like as a skeleton. It'd be her. The Chain Gunslinger!"
Both of these statements were shocking to say the least. But what followed was more shocking to everyone in the room, apart from Sock, as he said...

When I cry I tend to sniff quite heavily with my nose. In a way, it's a very distinct cry, different from most people's.
...
Turns out, though, my crying was just like a certain man.
Daisy whimpered out in shock, "That's the cry of the man who killed my partner. The cry of the Chain Hanger!"

My first reaction was to worry about her condition, wishing I could be there for her. Before being reminded that I'm still currently stuck in the Void.
Bartender, seeing my pain, offered me a stiff drink to cool my nerves, but I still couldn't help but cry.
That was when Daisy panicked.

I didn't just make the mistake on our social media, as I also asked the others back at the Sliced Bread Inc™ to do research on any Steel ____ person in our Leafs.
...
Meg got really annoyed at me when I realised my mistake, and drew a moustache on my comatose body as punishment.

Steel Hanger. An assassin who was infamous for his execution methods.
Daisy, unfortunately had a run in with him a few years ago, when he took the life of her partner.
She also mentioned one other interesting fact. The Steel Hanger worked for the Fae Leaf version of the Crescent Moon Beast.

Interestingly, he mentions that there was this one skeleton who single handedly took down one.
The Chain Gunslinger. She killed a gigantic kraken with a specialised hookshot gun.
...
We could make a weapon like that. But I don't know if we could find someone crazy enough to use it.

There's never been one of that size she had to deal with.
Still, I gave all the relevant information back to the office.
Afterwards, I asked Sock's counterpart, Pirate, if he ever had to deal with krakens in his life, seeing as his Leaf is somewhat similar to the Pickle Leaf.

We all at Sliced Bread Inc™ thanks the baker for his hard work. And hope he has a good and well deserved rest.

A person has a desire, ROF comes to grant it but at a great price. The person is always aware of this price, yet never realises how bad it is until it's too late.
...
I also told Sock that ROF mentioned a "version of you". We both wondered if one of my counterpart already made a deal with him?

"It's always funny seeing a version of you trying to change fate. Still, can't have a fool waste time on pointless endeavours."
I was then thrown all the way to the pub, while the wooden puppet kept laughing.
Explaining everything to Sock later, I was told I had met ROF, the Ruler of Fools.
