For those of you still in the throes of Christmas, here is my message to you. Boxing Day hangovers feel worse than regular hangovers.

Tomorrow I’ll be making the mango, passion fruit and white chocolate trifle ready for Christmas lunch. So obviously sherry doesn’t work with those flavours so here I find myself “taste testing” a Malibu & coke to confirm that coconut-flavoured rum is going to work instead….

If it’s not in that trolley, it’s not happening for the rest of 2024. Airports could learn something from the queueing system Woolies has implemented, I’ll say.
