Jen swooping in with the receipts!
Susie Wiles told NYT she didn't call Elon Musk "an avowed ketamine" in one of her ELEVEN interviews with Vanity Fair.

"That’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t have said it and I wouldn’t know."

Vanity Fair: Cool here's a recording of you saying that. www.huffpost.com/entry/brown-...

Marsha Lederman’s book comes out of the Hamas attacks on Israel and Israel’s military response, but it’s not an account of the war in Gaza.

It is about how the conflict is being felt here in Canada, culturally. By Christopher Dornan.

The Supreme Court, Presidency, Senate and two party system are all quite anti-democratic institutions as presently constructed.

Our institutions are not only incapable of preventing tyranny—they’re currently enabling it.

When democracy returns, we need to reform our political system.

hey a fun thing is that if congress is delegating authority to an independent agency then by definition that agency is not "unaccountable." it is still accountable to congress. and it is interesting (read: extremely frustrating) to me that these people just write congress out of existence here.
Kavanaugh: Broad delegations to unaccountable agencies are dangerous for individual liberty! We have used the major questions doctrine to prevent agencies from overreaching.

Seeing this news is so weird for me because in 1989 when I was a baby 25-year-old corporate litigator in Manhattan, one of the first things I worked on was Warner Communications Inc.'s defense against a hostile takeover bid from Paramount Communications Inc.

There is a profound irony in the Supreme Court, made up of a group of appointees of different presidents with terms that insulate them from political pressure, deciding Congress can't create a board made up of appointees of different presidents with terms that insulate them from political pressure.
