ECM is forecasting a thundery event for the south on the 4-5th of Sep. A low pressure system will try to advance north, pulling warm humid air with it. This may form a strong convergence line which will give out the risk of thunderstorms.

As you might be aware Australia has in recent days experienced record breaking winter heat.
Europe is also standing out at global level particularly in east focusing on Ukraine. The developing La Niña which cools Earth is encountering resistance which hopefully will be overcome in coming months….

The likelihood of a milder, wetter & windier autumn is higher than average this year looking at the Met Office 3 month contingency forecast.
The *most likely* outcome however is for all three metrics to be around average.
