Idk what to do with my anger these days and that’s the origin story of this PowerPoint presentation. Dems aren’t coming to save us, and soon the US will be like Russia and public dissent will be criminalized. We have to save ourselves so, alas, a comprehensive plan on how to defeat Trump.

When we don’t allow boys to feel their emotions, they grow up into men who still get off on playing with toys. Expensive cars, rocket ships, and misiles. What we are seeing in Washington is what happens to emotionally stunted men, they turn into cruel, arrogant, entitled pissy babies.

At its core, people are elected to congress to represent their constituents; to be a voice for the people they serve. That’s why I love @repjasmine.bsky.social because she is doing the damn thing, and she is saying what we feel. I don’t have a lot of hope these days, but she’s a glimmer.
My biggest fear right now is that we are the frogs in the water which is slowly coming to a boil. Incrementally dismantling democracy takes time and I worry that by the time we realize that this is NOT a simulation it’ll be too late to organize. I don’t want to be a boiled frog.

Social media will cause the next great extinction event. We previously benefited from separation as it helped us maintain some healthy ignorance. Connecting us exposed our differences and pitted us against eachother. SM also delivered the propaganda and fear mongoring that will inspire horrors.

Poking around the @bsky.app feels like being in a room with adults for a change. It’s nice to see meaningful informed content and very little nonsense. Also seems to skew ‘nerdy intellectual’ which is rad bc I always loved learning from people smarter than me. Now..how do I work this thing 😂🤔

Was just reflecting on how the dumb dumbs of America ushered in this political mess. In grade school our teachers often told us to ‘check your work’ with the idea being; go back and look at the problem to make sure you got the right answer. I wish the dumb dumbs knew enough to check their work.

When so-called ‘progressives’ post about this nonsense they play into the hands of Republicans who aim to create culture wars while they strip your rights one by one. I refuse to believe that anybody cares about a high school track meets results…especially when the world is literally ending.
If you want to understand why banning transgendered athletes is so popular, even among Democrats, watch this and imagine it was your daughter back there getting smoked by a person who has bigger lungs, a bigger heart, and better muscles.

Unpopular opinion: the short term of the trade war launched by the US against Canada will be rough for Canadians, but Canada will emerge stronger. We’ve been too reliant on the US; time to find new and better friends. Strengthen the EU or turn to Asia and South America. It’s a big world.
