I'm guessing a Geoff whatshisface show is going on as the timeline is full of picks of him doing stuff on stage. That and new game announcements.

I thought they were in summer? Is there a winter one too?

WHY DID I BUY THIS?!?!?!?

Frigging jalapeño infused beer.

Oh damn! FSR Redstone is out!

I had very little anticipation for anything good really, and AMD, as always, delivered exactly what I expected from them!

A decade ago the spouting of "1984 was a warning, not a guide" was quite common.

I'm now thinking less 1984, more Paul Verhoeven movies.
Fifty different problems in the world just locked into one big uniform piece like a Rubik's cube in my head.

Avatar is Schrodinger's movie. It is this enormously popular film that has grossed amounts difficult to comprehend. Yet, nobody can really place a finger on any aspect of its existence.

I don't even know if I've fully watched it. I have some memories, but I couldn't tell you what it was about.
Part of me is utterly fascinated with the Avatar franchise. Cameron spent 13 years to make not one but 4 sequels. And by most logical measures, the bet has wildly paid off before even releasing the 3rd movie

And no one talks about them, I’m not blasted with rule34 fan art against my wishes

If I were to sum-up how 2025 seems to have changed with boomshoots, I've noticed the following trend that has taken place:

Friendship ended with Boomershoters
Now
Kingslikes
is my
best friend

It is not universal, obviously. There has been a massive move away from the old boomyshooty world though.

I know that folks are "aware" of the King's Field series, but are you familiar with its sparse, amazing narration

Just gave Queen's Domain demo a run.

It is, as the kids say, a vibe.

"Music is all digital and you need to get used to streaming."

*puts hand on big pile of cds and lps*

Unless i physically have a copy of the album, I don't have the album.

I have been this way for decades. If an upstart lazy tech like AI thinks it has a chance to compete, then it's dumb.
“AI is clearly sticking around so you have to get used to it” wrong. I don’t have to get used to shit. I am a practiced hater and I can keep this going for decades if I am required to

Finally sat down to play Chop Goblins fully after owning it for about a year.

Super short, but absolutely the kind of thing I love. Reminds me of a PS1 demo game with the vibes. There needs to be more short, very silly and varied (location wise) games out there.

It's that time of year again!

Part of me loves this.
Part of me knows that if their collection hits, my backlog is going to increase by at least 50 titles.
Because you've been so good, we're letting you open a few of your presents early this year.

Core Keeper, Dungeons of Hinterberg, Tactical Breach Wizards and an exclusive Jingle Jam edition of Train Sim World 6 are your first four games in the 2025 Jingle Jam Games Collection!

Can people not go back to the original way of doing "leaks" of GTA footage?

This is silly cheap for what you get.

I have some quibbles with the game, but for under $3 that is some insane value for what you get.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is $2.19 on GOG buff.ly/ARHv2Gp
$8.79 US PSN buff.ly/i8PrUr3
XBL buff.ly/FX36r00
(Steam) $8.20 Gamersgate w/ code W64 buff.ly/AkyzeLx

I had a few drinks the other day and, I a drunken act of confident boredom, I played a bunch of unplayed games from Steam.

Of them all, Pumpkin Jack stood out. I finished it about 30 minutes ago.

3D platformer that smells a little like MediEvil.

While I'm cautious yo comment on her comments, the reaction by Chinese netizens and pro-Chinese content creators framing things as "little Japan" in response to Takaichi's Taiwan comments has been very predictable.
