Finally sat down to play Chop Goblins fully after owning it for about a year.
Super short, but absolutely the kind of thing I love. Reminds me of a PS1 demo game with the vibes. There needs to be more short, very silly and varied (location wise) games out there.

Painted in Blood is such an odd fish. I wouldn't call it a boomshoot, but more like a mid 2000s Slavfps. It felt like it was more console coded on my main pc, so I switched up to my pseudo-console setup. The result? Zero pad aim assist and a goofy feeling input.
Seems cool, but needs work.

While I have my issues with it, the fact they reference the beginning of Doom 2016 and then follow it right up with "and then John was a zombie" is fucking brilliant.

Testing both, the Xbox thing feels nice in the hands, but I can't really comment on it much beyond the two minutes I used it.
I do think it is stupid it is considered an Xbox, considering it can only play the PC versions of the game's.

The more I play this, the more bananas it becomes.
It started as a weird extraction soulslike with Elderborne combat, then as you go along and upgrade things, the weapons add abilities from others and it becomes like a high-level Diablo 2 where everything explodes with poison and fire! I love it!
