As a child in the 80s, I only received a subset of information: if you get rabies, you have get a NEEDLE in your STOMACH!!!

It wasn't until I was nearly 40 that I received the rest of the relevant information: if you don't get that needle, you WILL die!

Twinsies! Here’s our mini, Neon, at 2½ months. A month later *all* the pictured toys were utterly destroyed. Plus some of the baseboards.

Man, this brings up memories! ITA didn’t hinder my reading at all, but I was a voracious reader and was more than happy to re-learn regular English afterwards. Never found it confusing; I guess it worked like it was supposed to on me!
