Just some asshole talking to himself on the internet. Focused on: games, anime, books, some tech stuff, Black shit.
Engineers with business sense are some of the best folks I've worked with. No BS with them, smart enough to know how things work and how it makes money in detail. However, they generally don't like leading if it takes them too far from their core craft. Met many like this during my big tech tour

Now that I think about it, I've only seen these kinds of folks rolling in Cybertrucks (and I see them all the time where I am):
1. White dude (by himself) - this is most of the time (like 70%)
2. Asian dude with wife or GF. Usually dressed to the 9s, but then get in that monstrosity of a vehicle

When I was a younger man, I spent time in Florida for work. My colleagues were Caucasian and wanted to drink with me so this meant going to bars they liked. At a seedy dive bar, a drunk yt cougar told me black men made her wet, and tried to put my hand inside her pants to "prove it" 🤮.

"Never meet your heroes" rings so true in cases like this. I've had enough encounters with artists, thought leaders, etc. I admired over the years at various events that I decided to just not meet them anymore.

I didn't understand these either at the time to be honest. I thought they looked ridiculous.

He (and basically every other R running) lost. I don't feel bad. I can't in good conscience cede any further power to any GOP candidate at any level: local, state, or federal.

I understand that's also why Cavill parted ways...? The writing over 3 seasons deviated too much from the lore and he didn't want to be part of it anymore...?

I've been teaching myself programming and I want to murder Copilot. It is NOT helpful in any meaningful way when I'm trying to learn. I shut it off every chance I get, but it's aggressive like Mr Clippy used to be.

I remember the controls on this game being molasses at best, which made the game more difficult than it actually was.

It was the first game my folks bought for me on SNES. I had saved up the money from mowing lawns to buy the console, and they agreed to buy a game. My dad and I watched the NBA religiously so he tried to get into this game with me. It didn't take but I remember him trying.

I met maintenance and loggies with beer bellies who ran sub 7 min miles and lifted more weight than anyone. I met chiseled dudes who looked like Duke from GI Joe...who couldn't do more than 5 pull ups and puked after every formation run. The proof is in the performance, not 'the look.'
