Just some asshole talking to himself on the internet. Focused on: games, anime, books, some tech stuff, Black shit.
I didn't understand these either at the time to be honest. I thought they looked ridiculous.

Despite some small amount of mission repetition (like Ghost of Tsushima), Ghost of Yotei is objectively awesome and an improvement on the first game. The fact they acknowledge and include the Ainu in the game slaps. If you know your Japanese history, including the Ainu is kind of a big deal.

One of the most beautiful games I ever played. I think about it almost every time I'm near a coastline.

My favorite Robert Redford movie was Sneakers. Effortlessly pulls off the leading man role in an Ocean's 11 type heist. RIP, Robert.
Also, the entire cast of this movie was freaking phenomenal.

Post one of the most haunting shots in movie history from a film made before the year 2000.
"What's in the box!?" What an ending to a masterful thriller.

Should I be surprised that people on LinkedIn are fear-mongering about Mamdani (and Bernie no less)?
We need MORE folks pushing to move us left, not less. We should have space to make tradeoffs between limitless wealth vs everyone living with dignity that their tax dollars buys them.

I didn't like this movie. I loved 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later. This one just seemed...silly. The part that seemed the most well thought out was when the Swedish NATO guy was trapped on the island and was trying to explain the modern world to the kid who had lived in quarantine his whole life.

This was waaaaay better than I expected it to be. It has flaws, but it spiritually captures the '78 Christopher Reeve version.
Cornswet is a really good Superman - on par with Tyler Hoechlin (I really like Tyler's portrayal in Superman and Lois).

I know Michael Jordan famously refused to license his name and likeness to EA, but there was a code you secret code enter that unlocked a Michael Jordan clone in the game in the create a player menu. Has all his stats, college, etc., but just a different name to stay clear of legal trouble 😂

I was in 8th grade when this came out. We had never heard rap like this before (it was sooo different from their first album), and everyone I knew was bumping this in their Walkman or boom box. I regret I'll never hear this for the first time ever again bc it was definitely special.

How did I miss this film when it first came out? It's a very solid entry in the Predator franchise, almost as good as the first one.

I watched a YouTube video on Elite Dangerous and it made me reminisce about the likely 100s of hours I spent exploring 0.0001% of the galaxy (Elite faithfully reproduces almost every known star in our galaxy). What a huge game. Sounds design is also incredible.

This show was a magical, live action Cowboy Bebop (Joss Whedon admitted to having watched the anime before working on/developing this show).

Holy crap, halfway in and Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams is wild if only half of it is true. I've met ex Meta people since joining the industry a few years ago and they wryly described Meta as the wild west.

I realllly want to like Lazarus. Nostalgia for Cowboy Bebop and the soundtrack are the only things that kept me paying attention during the first episode. I know it's not fair to compare, but Bebop had me hooked from the very first episode.
