Kaslarul was a detective for a megacorp by day, an amateur pit fighter by night, and he was usually careful to not piss off the wrong people from both those worlds at the same time. Usually.
A science-fantasy illustration of a fictional character, Kaslarul. He is roughly humanoid in appearance, of muscular build, but with the legs, tail, and forearms of a wolf-like canine. He also has canid ears, but far longer and more pointy than that of any wolf. His eyes are red with black sclera, and his unkempt hair and fur are both dark gray, with some banding. He is barechested, and wears drab green pants secured by a number of belts as well as armor around his shins. Kaslarul is backed up against a chain-link fence on what appears to be the edge of a rooftop. In the foreground, at each side, the silhouettes of assailants are barely visible. He glares at them, his sneer exposing his fangs, as he drops into a combat stance in preparation to fight. every machine is connected to the other not only by physical means, through cables and pipes, but also through non-material means thal lie outside of human perception. if one builds a node mechanism sufficient in size and fuels it right, it is possible to create a path wide enough for a human.
