I've encountered this absolutely wonderful phenomena wherein each time I attempt to be "productive" the universe inexplicably saddles me with yet another inconvenience.

I mean, look, all things change and end, we will all die, earth will be uninhabitable in a billion years, then the sun will expand and destroy the planet, and the universe will die a slow death of proton decay. But BEFORE THAT, let's make this place fun, okay?

Someone just asked me for writing tips, and my gut level response was "all writing advice is fake, just read books you like and write as much as you can and eventually something will be good" but then I thought about it and I had some actual advice!

Fellow writers, remember that in times of darkness it is our fiction that people take refuge in to escape from said darkness. It is necessary reprieve for you and the people who appreciate it.
