Haha yeah, there’s some nice third-party sculpts out there, but they are, by their nature, not going to look like the official ones, so they don’t have the same appeal.
I can only hope with this new edition we’ll eventually see more revamps like what Rohan has been getting!

I have seen people use other model lines as really good stand-ins for LOTR models, although not for Easterlings, those are more tricky to get the vibes of

I *did*! We played two games where we swapped between attacker and defender, and I managed to win both times (not much of a feat considering it was a learning game, but still)
Fast to boot, didn’t even take two full hours!
