I don't know who needs to hear this. But don't let someone tell you that your chosen method of reaching out to elected officials does not work unless they have 1) proof that your elected officials are actively ignoring that communication channel and 2) an alternative accessible communication method.

Doing some quick math on how much letters cost me to send I've determined that if I print them with my laser printer they cost pennies (excluding a stamp) if I hand write them they cost up to a dollar because I'm using nice paper. If I use an inkjet printer then it is $100 because the ink is a scam.
