One of my favorites is some variant of "it will raise your taxes too much to be able to afford to go to the doctor", which is like saying if you buy a bus pass how will you have money to pay your bus fare. Just totally ignores the whole point.

My favorite arguments against universal healthcare are ones where it goes “but imagine if we had that system and didn’t fund it and also it didn’t have to be universal?” yeah that wouldn’t be a great system I guess
