If only European powers cared a fraction of the amount they do about peace in Gaza as they do about peace in Ukraine. Russia’s actions are terrible but Israel’s significantly worse, yet the difference in response is telling.

I worked night shift on the 360 launch, so I saw 100 people queuing to get their console at midnight.
I went home at 7am and Amazon delivered my console at 8am, a sign of where things were moving to even 20 years ago.

Died 2 times in the QTEs in Tomb Raider on Switch 2 because Nintendo doesn’t know how the alphabet works and puts their buttons all reversed.

I started off moderate on AI and rapidly became anti-AI as companies demonstrated how they were going to use it. They had the chance to show people they would not be awful with it, and they proceeded to be awful with it. No ‘middle ground’ to be found.

I’ve never played the series before but I’m enjoying the new Hyrule Warriors game for Switch 2 more than Tears of the Kingdom. I don’t think it’s the better game objectively, but certainly I’m having more fun with it.

It’s a shame that VR makes me physically sick because Steam Frame looks great - standalone VR without needing to make a Meta account (literally just closed mine - not going there again).

If I were Satya Nadella, I’d be asking how on earth Valve has managed to bring their OS into 3 different markets (living room, handheld, VR) while Microsoft have spent 30 years failing to get Windows into any of those.

You'd think if Sony were attaching the PlayStation brand to a monitor, it would be more than just a bog standard middle-of-the-road 1440p IPS monitor.

Genuinely considering removing myself from all remaining social media and toxic gaming circles, getting all my gaming info from actual magazines like Edge, PCG etc - see if it helps my mental health. Might do a trial run.

I don’t usually complain about game pricing or link price to content amount, but I was tempted to grab Sonic Racing CrossWorlds on Steam today and realised that Sega are actually insane.

Spent far too much on Hanabie goods so I have to cancel every game preorder of 2025 (except Prime 4 of course). VIP and signed poster worth it though.
