One of my least favorite things about the two party system is the way it forces everyone from the left to the center to pretend our preferred politics are electorally beneficial for the coalition.
In a sane, modern, multiparty system, the Democrats would be 2-3 parties with their own agendas.

I've had lots of well-meaning, supposedly social justice minded friends tell me repeatedly "That's not antisemitic, it's just based on traditional European legends and longstanding western culture!"

No criminal defendant — however innocent — wants “his day in court to clear his name.” Juries are unpredictable and anyone facing a felony conviction would much prefer to avoid a trial entirely!
