My son's friend taught me how to make sushi today, and it was an interesting and fun experience. I managed to do one or two Maki rolls (she did the rest) and I put together some salmon nigri and tuna nigri. Though I need to work on the rice to fish ratio, it was pretty good.

Apparently I fell in love with my wife all over again.
I had dental surgery last Friday. As I was coming out of the anaesthetic in the recovery room, my wife put her hand on my shoulder, and this happened.
Me to nurse: who's this pretty girl talking to me?
Nurse: your wife.
Me: REALLY? (excited)

Dental work can be f*n scary. Long story short, 2 broken roots, 2 rounds of antibiotics (starting 3rd tomorrow, slice and drain abscess (a lot of drainage), install drain tube, need dental surgery to remove roots. UGH!
