They don't exactly agree.

(AFAIK there are no published details of the new instrument. It may only be reading depth at one location, vs the average of several for the manual measure.)

Lose about 6% of the gas to power the liquefaction plant, another ~2% to boil-off in transport/storage (more if it's re-liquefied), another 2% to regasify. So want to make the stuff 10% more expensive, *before paying for the capital cost of the plant*? Do this.

🚨Under reporting of emissions, especially from methane, is a major problem around the world. The Australian govt keeps approving more gas, without actual monitoring and real time measurements of emissions or acknowledging the scope 3 emissions. It’s reckless negligence. #auspol
