Jaylen Brown once finished a season with a new nickname—The Gravedigger—after dunking on a gang of folks enroute to an ECF & NBA Finals MVP Award and his first NBA title

No one is trying to be on the Summer Jam screen this season when it’s not a Choose Which Jay Will Dunk You type conundrum anymore

I was quoted in The Ringer’s new piece about top NCAA freshman AJ Dybantsa from Brockton, MA: www.theringer.com/2025/11/13/c...
AJ Dybantsa Isn’t Your Typical Boston Story
He doesn’t drop his r’s, he’s not from Southie, and he’ll never be played by a Wahlberg. Can the NBA's potential no. 1 pick become the new face of Boston?

Still angry at Scorsese for "The Departed". Just watch "Infernal Affairs" instead. Stop being afraid of subtitles...

I hope I never see Jack Nicholson in the wild, Pepperidge Farms aren't the only people with long memories.

I've never played any Mario Kart game. Past the SNES, I never owned another Nintendo console other than the Wii strictly for the Virtual Wii where I played games from other consoles on it. I never played another Zelda/Link game after "Legend Of Zelda II: Adventure Of Link"
Inspired by a post I just saw in which someone admitted they hadn’t seen a single episode of Friends nor the film Love Actually… what cultural hole do you have that’s a bit weird for your generation?

I’ll go first: I haven’t seen Dirty Dancing.

20 years ago today, I clocked out of my old job at CVS for the last time. I was being fast tracked into a salaried position managing my own CVS, but after spending 10% of my then 30 years on Earth at this job I knew I had to pursue my dreams while I still could. Looking forward to the NEXT 20 years.

I’m between being disappointed & angry. Losing is one thing.

Losing to the fucking YANKEES is another.

Now we gotta root for the Blue Jays who we ALSO hate? But nowhere near as much as the fucking YANKEES?

Anyways…

Still making the Neighborhood baseball jerseys because BOSTON.

BOSTON!

*sigh*

Awful news. Thoughts go out to Bruce's family. One of the OGs at keeping Boston sports media honest. Cannot wait for the day we eradicate cancer.
This is Bruce's wife. Bruce passed away on Sept 19th from complications with cancer treatment. I'll leave his account open for now. He loved sports and talking about sports and will be eternally missed.

I think they shot us first before they got all the people folks would actually know. It was called “True Believers” at the time though.
