I don't like Nintendo's solution much, but I think it does allow for this. But I don't know if there's a good tech solution with the upside of both 😕

Peak pokemon design, tbh

It perhaps goes without saying that those things are not a primary focus for most corporations 😂

Prattchet had a habit of changing the way I think about something. I'll probably never stop wondering about the books we might have had 😭

'free as in piano' was always my favourite. Both getting it in your house, and getting it back out again when you no longer want it are your problem.

And who knows if it's in tune

I think it's an ok way to prevent overscoping, and in my experience there's nothing like playing an idea to find out if it's good. But it takes a lot of experience to tell if something is genuinely bad, or if polishing it will reveal a gem (I'm not claiming to have that experience though!)

I have to admit, I'm trying to work at a tiny enough scale where I can actually hold enough design in my head to just build it, then figure out what's missing through playtest and build that.

The current project is just a bit too fiddly to keep in my head at once though!

A pigeon briefly nested in a tree near my house, but I never saw/heard any chicks. I assumed it abandoned the best, but perhaps the pigeon I saw in it was an adolescent, already grown by the time I noticed it!

(based on the state of the pavement, the nest was there a while before I noticed)

Honestly 4 hours is crazy good. Get some tire smoke particles on it and it'll look as good as a lot of n64 games easily

It's been on our list the longest, but my friend worked on Golden Idol, so it might get priority 😅

My partner and I really like games we can play together, especially games like Blue Prince, Outer Wilds, and The Witness.

Not sure what we'll play next though (Obra Dinn maybe? or Case of the Golden Idol)
