There were howls of protest and denial from the GOP any time we pointed out that Republicans want to cut Social Security.

Now the most powerful official in the White House goes on TV and calls it "the big one to eliminate."
Elon Musk says he wants to “eliminate” programs like Social Security and Medicare: “Entitlements... That’s the big one to eliminate”

I posted this was a lie right after Musk said it. This is the Commander of the ISS. Musk responded to this post by throwing a temper tantrum and calling for ISS to be defunded.

BREAKING: Sen. Ron Wyden sounds the alarm that Trump approves of the House budget resolution -- the only way they can meet their $880 billion in cuts is by cutting hundreds of billions from Medicaid, a disaster for millions.

Make sure everyone sees this.

Correct.
So Trump hurt America's relationship with Canada and made markets wobble all to "get" Canada to do things Canada had announced back in December in coordination with the Biden administration, do I have that right?

This is why ‘bipartisanship’ is meaningless. They are trying to roll back any progress made in the previous administration. Being petty at the expense of our health.
Republicans have a new way to kill us all...
Republicans move to repeal lead limits imposed by Biden-era rules.

US government would be prohibited from ever mandating lead pipe replacement or lowering lead limits in water.

Lead poisoning anyone??

Libraries are magical places. Please support them!
Good morning! This is your reminder to support your local library! Get your card and see what resources you have access to from programs and events to seed libraries, maker spaces and digital resources. Libraries are more than *just* books. (Although books are very lovely!)

Anti-book ban legislation has been proposed in Michigan.

I had a chance to look at the proposals from the state library association months ago and they're GOOD.

Michigan may join several other states in being an anti-book ban leader soon.
