As a lot of people are following back (thanks and well met!), I'll repost this introduction from a couple of months ago so we can get to know each other. This is me! Please tell me more about yourselves :)
This will be a bit of a thread to introduce myself on here, focused on my work. Starting of, I've been tinkering on games as long as I can remember. Adding home rules to board games, making levels in existing games etc... The earliest example I can remember being the Stunts editor. I think I was 4.

Experienced a TPK for the first time as a DM yesterday. It sucked. The table was set, all the die rolls went poorly, I had no more way to intervene except for providing deus ex machina. At least the players took it like champs. This is a 3y running campaign, nearing it's finally. I'm sad. #gaming

I just keep finding myself being sucked back into Baldur's Gate 3 from time to time. Act 1 is just such a fun way to experiment with DnD builds. #gaming #bg3

Last day before vacation. Do any of you have a 'last day at work' ritual? Mine is cleaning up the scattered notes with (by now) meaningless numbers, sketches of hexagon grids, written down lists of variables and semi-thought out game flow diagrams I had to track some day. #gamedev

I've been thinking about altering the expected parts of a game like movement or object interactions in a way that reinforces the core fantasy. Doom 2016 was a good example of this, where 'picking up HP' literally becomes 'melee finishing an enemy'. Any other good examples of this? #gamedev

We are in the prototyping phase of a new project and I just love physical prototypes. They are so effective in communicating intent with the team and iterating on ideas goes way faster as well!
