We have known for while that enteroviruses can lead to ME/CFS. Enteroviruses are RNA viruses that are often asymptomatic. This paper from stomach biopsies published in 2010 shows a link between acute infection and viral persistence in ME/CFS.

If we’re wrong about Covid - the worst that’s happened is we’ve worn a mask and cleaned the air.
