Well hello Bluesky 👋 decided to use a long train journey to finally sign up. I’m a coffee obsessive and pottery student, occasional baker and someone who spends too much time listening to politics podcasts
Honestly if you’re a freeholder or landlord you should be forced to have a basic legal understanding of your rights and responsibilities. It shouldn’t be on renters or leaseholders to explain the law to you and point out where you’re proposing to break it!!

Well my Spotify wrapped told me the same thing it does every year, I tend to hyper fixate on certain songs and then never listen to them again. I swear I haven’t listened to any on my top songs/artists in months!

The realisation that I’ve agreed to so many meetings next week that I’ll be travelling over 800 miles and getting something like 20 different trains once I add all the connections 😳 I’m exhausted just thinking about it

In other news I spent today largely just wandering around London without much of a plan, something I haven’t done in ages, and it was lovely. I went from craft market, to bookshop, to coffee shop, to farmers market, another coffee shop and a few stops in between.

Went to see Wicked earlier (brilliant!) and it was the first time I’ve ever seen the audience clap multiple times during the film, basically after each song. Should have predicted it though when they started giving a round of applause after each trailer

Is there a reason (beyond the obvious goal for extra engagement) that people are reposting their own posts at a high rate? Not a criticism, but I’m seeing a lot of it on Bluesky, sometimes within an hour of the original post, and I don’t really understand why?

It’s been a long day in the pottery studio, my last time throwing on the wheel for 2024, but it was a very productive session with 4 mug bodies and my first ever lidded canister (I’m thinking tea bag holder?) #pottery
