The "trust your intuition" advice is good and all but for those of us with trauma, our "intuition" feels very similar to our gut fear responses that have been needed in the past but are no longer valid. Listen to your intuition BUT know your shadows so you can see which is which 🖤

I didn't really want to get involved in recent discourse, but since people are now coming to my DMs to involve me indirectly anyway, I will say: I think it is evil and immoral to pedojacket queer people, even if they make art that makes me personally uncomfortable, and it's disappointing to see it.

I remember being excited for Halloween as a kid even if the actual trick or treating was never my thing.
Somehow it just doesn't feel like the things to buy during the spooky season I adore so much have any of the charm I'd see when shopping with my parents
