Trump is over here like the big dumb parade balloon, blocking our view of the real problems with his buffoonery. RFK and Oz are potentially going to cost an unknown number of kids their lives with their gender affirming care actions.

Reading about Appalachian folkways brings back a lot of memories of my childhood. I wish I'd paid more attention when I had the chance to discuss these things with my family.

I know that many of us are older and traditionally older people have a hard time adapting to the nuances of the new. I have spent a lot of time trying to educate myself on the new millennial morality that exists. I try to be an ally and if necessary at least do no harm.

I sit here reading Danse Macabre by Stephen King, and he is writing about a period of mass memory and empathy following the Kennedy assassination, and I have to remember he was writing those words almost 20 years to the day before the events of September 11th.

This is theft. If you're a publisher you need to have two accounts: Operating, and Royalties. Funds in those two accounts NEVER intermingle, and using R to pay O (or one writer's R to pay another author's) is a breach of your fidiciary duty as a publisher. That simple. Don't steal from your writers!
