I'm seeing it any time I go to the "Blocked By" or "Lists Blocked By" tabs for a user.
Oddly enough, my laptop has the same page loaded and *doesn't* have this check. Maybe they're A/B testing? Or just aggressive caching on the frontend? You might not see it yet either way.

Clearsky has updated to require authentication when viewing who blocks a user, and the permission scope it's asking for via bsky's oauth is...absolutely wild.

Yeah, a lot of people depend on these mods for accessibility, so they're introducing some similar features into the actual game itself, but since they control it, they're also adding a *penalty* for using them.

PSA: Discord just introduced custom text displays for people's names as a Nitro perk. It's not just you, everyone's names look silly!
Thankfully, you can turn this off. It's in the "Accessibility" settings panel, this setting labeled "Display Name Styles". Turn it off to return to the default font.

Heheh I broke something so bad in my software's update checker that it made a bunch of installations start timing out on every request and then re-requesting every single minute afterward. It's fixed now!

If anyone wonders where I disappeared off to for the last three days or so, I was replacing the now-unmaintained Vuelidate library with the newer one, Regle.
Regle is actually fantastic, though a "drop-in replacement" for Vuelidate it is not :P

My biggest memory of it was this cynical little moment of capitalism hell: when Walmart (amazingly, with permission) used the phrase in their 2002 Shareholders Meeting as a rallying cry to, I dunno, drive worker wages down and destroy small businesses in the name of endless growth I guess.

A shout-out to an often unsung hero of the VR space and someone I both admire and am glad to call a friend, @jazzy.land, whose project VRCDN powers so much of the multimedia in the VR space. An independent, above-board and sustainable CDN is more important to our VR lives than many of us realize.

Welp, in the spirit of shit going wrong today...something fell behind my desk and I was leaning over to grab it when I lost my balance and fell into my monitor, slamming it against my computer and shattering its screen.
That's $300 I sure as hell don't have right now. :'(

- Video flash: if disabled, fast flashes of light will be smoothed into a gray area, while preserving the rest of the video feed
- Fast lights: if disabled, slows down some light transitions so they aren't so abrupt
