Duolingo seems to know me pretty well. 😞
Went into Sevenoaks this morning at 9am and the first man to walk past me was smoking weed. It was in the car park so presumably he was driving. Walked along the high street, again a pong of weed. A couple of years ago I didn’t even know what it smelled like, now it’s everywhere

I just dropped some shopping into my parents and a woman was watching as I pulled up. She said that she used to know my mum from church and has “been meaning to pop in and offer them some help for years but I’m far too busy I’m afraid”.
Didn’t really know how to respond to that.

You know when you have a friend but can’t work out if some of the things they say are purposely snide or whether they are just lacking any emotional intelligence.
I didn’t think I’d still be dealing with people like that in my fifties.

This was an interesting and very comprehensive exhibition. Some very sad and disturbing photos taken after the liberation of Dachau and lots of fun and flirty fashion.
I’m going to see the Lee Miller exhibition at the Tate tomorrow. I dont know anything about her work but a day in London and a catch up with a friend is always a nice change of scene www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tat...

I just took my dad for an eye appointment which he didn’t need. He’s forgotten he’d had one three months ago. I hope he isn’t going to start forgetting things because I can’t cope with two parents with memory loss although it must happen all the time as people live so long. Anyway, eyes all fine.

I am having a posh lunch in Tunbridge Wells tomorrow. I expected it to be cancelled what with the water nightmare.

Just got back from my parents. I did the housework on Wednesday but it’s grubby again, especially the kitchen. The house smells of wee but my mum refuses to go to the toilet. They have clutter piled on every surface so hiring a cleaner seems futile. I don’t really know what to do anymore #Alzheimers

How can a marriage be annulled after seventeen years and multiple children? Her ex must want to re-marry in church. Poor Sutton, it’s like the ultimate insult. #RHOBH

My two younger kids have given me no clue about Xmas presents and they both have birthdays in Jan. It’s too much for tired old me.
I have resorted to my default of joggers, overpriced hoodies and T shirts from Urban Outfitters. I am feeling g a bit Grinchy but do like this cute wrapping paper.

My husband keeps opening the dishwasher when the cycle has finished so that I can empty it. We are both WFH today. Ten years ago, after my first day back at work after years at home, I came home to the same thing and I was about ready to pack my bags.

I took my dad to his cardiac review, his heart is doing ok but he is losing so much weight 😞 When I picked him up I gave my mum a big Poinsettia as they don’t put decorations up anymore. Mum was so happy with her little gift, the first time I’ve seen her smile in so long.

Age UK now asking for donations of bottled water in Tunbridge Wells where some people have had no supplies for days. Youd think that would be something South East Water would be organising as it’s their fault.

Here at my parents I have just taken delivery of yet more socks and slippers for my mum. My dad keeps buying them. Mum must have at least one hundred pairs of socks and a dozen pairs of identical slippers.

iPhone packaging for every device my family have ever owned. Including my lovely IPod Classic, one of the best things I ever owned.

I have twenty five discs with the contents of my IPod classic saved I’m on them. I’ve never needed them in fifteen years so I’m safe to get rid aren’t I?

Holy shit. So Elon decides it would be nice to know what region of the world people are posting from. So they add that little feature.
2 hours later they figure out that many Trump supporters with millions of followers are posting from other countries. Surprise!
That "feature" is now gone.
