恐龍006 北非暴君-鯊齒龍

鯊齒龍是非洲最大型的肉食性恐龍之一，體長幾乎與暴龍相同，但身形較為側扁，因此體重較暴龍輕，但高聳的神經棘（背部脊椎骨的凸起）代表上面附著了大量肌肉，其力量依然不容小覷，與著名的南方巨獸龍同屬於鯊齒龍科，不過比起南美洲的親戚，鯊齒龍的頭部更細長、偏三角形一點。

在鯊齒龍生存的年代，北非並非是如今的沙漠，而是一望無際的熱帶沼澤，在這樣濕熱豐饒的環境下，不但棲息諸如潮汐龍之類的草食恐龍，同時也有許多大型魚類會潛伏在水域深處，甚至連鱷魚都有可能是鯊齒龍的獵物。

40 kya. A 𝘜𝘳𝘴𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘩𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴 exits a basaltic cave into the grassland of Penghu Islands with her young, treading carefully in bear country. Males of her kind can reach twice her weight - bigger than the ginormous 𝘜. 𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘴 “𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘴” at over a ton - and are cannibalistic towards cubs.

In today’s botanical illustration practice, the teacher plucked some flora as our drawing model, resulting in a buncha confusedly homeless ants and aphids. I feel bad for not lumping all the withered stems back onto the lawn, so I’m confessing here.

500 thousand years ago along a tranquil riverside in Pleistocene Taiwan, a giant 𝘛𝘰𝘺𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘪𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘴 surfaces from the dusky waters. At 7 meters, it is the lord of local freshwater ecosystems.
