Not surprising. Local BOE elections in NJ had slates of candidates pushing unified anti-LGBTQ and especially anti-trans messaging. Local GOP party appararchiks amplified their messages. In my community, they all got deservedly trounced at the polls.
NEW: Our look at campaign filings appear to show county Republican party coordinating with school board candidates to push anti-trans messaging through an "independent outlet" with undisclosed ties.

Congratulations even more to the voters in Virginia, New York, and my home state of New Jersey, for what were, in effect, referendums on the Trump/Project 2025 Regime. A very bad night for the Regime is a very good night for American Democracy and likely an omen of things to come.
Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

I watched this segment. What it described was the fundamentally criminal mentality of the entire DOJ senior leadership, from Underboss Pam Bondi down to everyone willingly going along with her. It will take years to clean this sewer.
The Senate confirmation process should require ALL SCOTUS nominees to sign a legally binding pledge to be bound by the Judicial Code of Ethics, with any finding that they have violated it to carry an automatic, irrevocable resignation.

I've posted about this and called my Senators and House Member about it repeatedly, ever since I first found out that roughly $300B of Russian Central Bank assets are frozen in the West. Including about $210B in the EU alone, with the majority held by Euroclear in Belgium and about $5B in the US.
