I think this is better than it felt when I was doing it. I think I learned a while ago that I should avoid giving people "Kiss/David Bowie eyes," but I think it's a consequence of my general confusion with the form and shadow.

I'm not sure how to make this feel satisfying. It's possible that it'll feel good once I'm better at it, but I'm starting to think that's not particularly optimal.
