Has anyone tried writing a bsky client for emacs? I’ve never written anything in lisp besides my own emacs config but I might have a go at it for fun and see if I can make anything useful

Guess who just learned that MikroTik has a safe mode that rolls back config changes built in to WinBox *after* causing the router to drop all packets because of messed up VLAN filtering rules

Last week at work I got to spend two days working on a useless project instead of doing actual work. It’s nice to get to put together dumb concept projects that have no future other than maybe future fun-but-useless projects

Spent the weekend judging at a martial arts tournament. Really glad to have gotten through it with no injuries and only one upset parent in my ring

Following a bunch of people in the same circles here is fun because they follow those same people too and repost each other’s posts so I can see the same post go by three times in a row. No complaints here, I get a laugh out of it every time I see it

All of the tools I've seen pop up for inspecting various parts of the atproto ecosystem are honestly really fascinating. atproto-browser.vercel.app and internect.info are two I've been playing around with lately. Super cool to be able to look into all the data kept in my account's pds repo!

I don’t remember how long it took me to setup my GoToSocial instance, but I’m pretty sure setting up a PDS for bsky was faster, and I didn’t even use the installer script

More food posting: inspired by my recent trip, this weekend I made stoofvlees (Flemish beef stew) and Belgian-style fries (attempted to anyways). It turned out very well, now I just need to get it all written down so I can remember the ingredients again for next time!

Finally tried something I’ve been wanting to do for ages: baking bread. For my first attempt, I made focaccia. It turned out pretty well!

If you ever visit Brussels, HIGHLY recommend the tram museum in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre/Sint-Pieters-Woluwe. Huge collection of historical trams and busses of Brussels and all items associated with them. Plus rides to Stokkel on one of the historical trams!
