More food posting: inspired by my recent trip, this weekend I made stoofvlees (Flemish beef stew) and Belgian-style fries (attempted to anyways). It turned out very well, now I just need to get it all written down so I can remember the ingredients again for next time!

Finally tried something I’ve been wanting to do for ages: baking bread. For my first attempt, I made focaccia. It turned out pretty well!

If you ever visit Brussels, HIGHLY recommend the tram museum in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre/Sint-Pieters-Woluwe. Huge collection of historical trams and busses of Brussels and all items associated with them. Plus rides to Stokkel on one of the historical trams!

Historical tram that follows tram line 39 to Stokkel and back. A wall of various old signs used by transit to indicate route and direction. One of the preserved trams in the museum. You can go inside many of them but not this one.
