I'm glad they acknowledge later in the article that Finn's techniques in SOR are actually effective and grounded in pedagogy. As a music teacher, I was smiling and nodding furiously as the film got beyond Act 2 and he achieved increasing success with these students.

My dear late Grandpa would have turned 106 this year.
A WW2 veteran, but I have to say he and his war buddies persisted with some outdated ideas that clashed with today’s values.
For example: they believed that nazis were terrible people who had no place in civic life and had to be stopped.

To be fair, Britain (and its allies, including us) and the USSR did most of the leg work and suffered many more civilian casualties. USA only came in when it suited them.
Among other things, I'm just so pissed that a country that once made winning WWII its whole personality is now building concentration camps
