It’s only the latest and perhaps so far greatest revelation of the true nature of Farage’s Reform party. The name strikes me as ironic - if anything in our country needs reforming - it’s the Reform party…:)

For fairly obvious reasons when people flee their countries of origin to seek asylum elsewhere they can't carry much. Often things like jewellery are all they have to hold onto. This isn't just stripping people of "assets", it is stealing their memories. 57/

The move to make refugees wait 20 years to get settlement and have their status reviewed every 30 months, along with restricted family reunion rights, is a crueller version of something the Conservatives tried in the Nationality and Borders Act. It didn't reduce dangerous journeys then and won't now
