Listening to/watching VODs of people playing the game to get me through the insanity of work. I need to pick it up and play it again once I’m through with all my other pressing obligations. I don’t remember most of what happened, so it’s nice to be surprised by the story beats again

I’m aware of the official release’s issues, but man, no one thought that game was ever going to get translated because of Sherlock Holmes and the viciousness of the Doyle Estate, and the dried up interest in the series. Thank god everyone was wrong, cause it’s straight up the best in the series

Shoutout to all my mutuals whom I still know from being in those trenches at the time. I was a whole ass other person who had different pronouns and was still in college

Also, the canon events of Apollo Justice are about to take place in 2026, which is *wild*

Tbf to the chefs; they probably get no time to familiarize themselves with the setups, their coworkers, and the menu like they would in their usual kitchens, but also!! Part of the challenge is to see how fast you can adapt, considering that level of kitchen work is breakneck

This isn’t to say all small farmers are great and perfect and always humane, but I would like to have the choice to see where my food comes from y’know? I want to respect the animal I eat, and I think that knowing where it came from and how it was processed lets me achieve that

If I could, I would be sourcing all my food from farmers I’d get to know and see them in action. Because of how companies have tilted the scales, farmers struggle to make ends meet while not being able to compete with the price and accessibility of these companies (whom cut corners and ethics)

I also think about how several cultures have practices tying back to celebrating and honoring animals. How many people would use all parts of an animal so that nothing would go to waste. I think these are significant and have become lost with consumerist simplification and lack of accessibility
