What I'd like to know about this project is whether or not it's part of the conditions for the state to turn over these portions of SR 2 to the city, as it is legally authorized to.

ITF West curbs. These will replace LAX-it when the people mover opens, and will also be the pick up/drop off point for private shuttles.

Every now and then when I am in the South Bay I like to check out what is happening with the pick up and drop off curbs at the people mover station near the LAX Metro station.
They likely won’t open these until the people mover opens. They look pretty done.

While not as significant, LA is also closing a slip lane over in the Arts District on 4th and Merrick, but the entire lane is getting the extended sidewalk treatment.

It’s now open to La Cienega and the 405 providing a direct alternative to Century Blvd when driving to LAX.
