Variant Spotter SC2 .
i think it was dominant since end of July 2024, the up and down then are just sequencing intensities. then grew over 50& with XDV.1.5 NB.1 and then over 90% with NB.1.8.1 but in som e areas it was already 100%

First BA.3.2(.2) sampled in Mozambique uploaded to Gisaid.
It has been collected in March 2025 and it is the most recent sample from that country

Dave McNally tool is a bomb to live-tracking prevalences
Please give him a follow and especially give him credits of all the giant work made by him through the pandemic @oliasdave.bsky.social

Looking at the chart XFG+NB.1.8.1 together are likely between 75-90% in the very last weeks globally.

Dave McNally did it again!
Probably he is one of the most underrated developers of SC2 tracking tools , beside being the man who found JN.1!
He has just released a wonderful tool for tracking everything , now.

NB.1.8.1 XFG LF.7.6.2 NY.9 and especially XFJ took over in the last period in Piedmont, Italy.
Great work by #ArpaPiemonte and the team with Carlotta Olivero who has been always active , and ready to support, the variant tracking community

however the lack of ORf9b:I5T could slow it being ORf9b:I5T one of the fastest growing mutation.

But it seems limited , LP.8.1.1 and 445R are most likely the main engine of the last wave in South Africa not BA:3.2

It is a week ago x.com/Rajeev_The_K... highlighted me a SC2 surge in South African wastewaters.
After a week its current peak is not far from the Delta and BA.1 ones.
i have no idea why this is happening
There is a 376S local variant (LB.1.3.4) , hard to think it is at work alone

Always open in the middle of my screen since years i think, i use it to separe on the left tracking and growth advantages section on the right the digging/spotting section. Also MOV app could be spotted. Really our work without Theo and the other developers of the different tools would be impossible
